Talwandi Sabo Power Limited was a special project company created by the State of Punjab for the project but which is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Sterlite Energy, which in turn is a wholly owned subsidiary of Vedanta Resources, a London Stock Exchange listed company.[1], India.
