Coal mines and projects
BMA owned and operated mines are:[3]
- the Gregory Crinum mine;
- the Peak Downs mine;
- the Saraji mine;
- the Norwich Park mine;
- the Blackwater mine;
- the Goonyella Riverside mine;
- the Broadmeadow mine and
- the Caval Ridge Project
BMA also manages two coal mines -- the South Walker Creek mine and the Poitrel mine -- for BHP Mitsui Coal.[3]
In September 2008 BMA bought 100% of the Saraji East project from New Hope Corporation. The project is an undeveloped metallurgical coal project located near Dysart in the Bowen Basin in Queensland.
