Funding

Türkiye Elektrik Ticaret ve Taahhüt A.Ş. is the Turkish government owned wholesale company which takes up the stranded costs of domestic coal plants.[1]

Payments

TETAŞ purchases half of the electricity generated (measured by installed power in commercial operation in October 2017) by power plants which burn local coal. In 2018 first quarter TETAŞ pays 200 lira per MWh.[2]
