Armutçuk mine is a hard coal mine at Armutçuk in Ereğli province of Turkey. The mine, which has an annual run of mine production capacity of 400,000 tonnes, is owned by Armutçuk Taskomuru Isletme Muessesesi which is a subsidiary of the government-controlled Turkiye Taskomuru Kurumu Genel Mudurlu(TTK).[1] However the operating rights to the Alacaağzı Kandilli coalfield are held by a subsidiary of Hattat Holding.[2] Tenders for several coal mines will be held during 2018 including Armutçuk.[3]
