The Association of Canadian Industries Recycling Coal Ash CIRCA states that its mission it so "increase the technically sound, environmentally responsible and commercially competitive use of coal combustion products (CCPs) as mineral resources."[1]

History
CIRCA originated from the Coal Combustion Products Interest Group which was formed in 1997 by the Canadian Electricity Association. CIRCA was launched in October 2001.[1]
Affiliations
The Association of Canadian Industries Recycling Coal Ash is a signatory to the charter of the Worldwide Coal Combustion Products Network which was formed in 1999 to "promote, coordinate and inform the public, industry and governmental entities about the beneficial environmental, technical and commercial uses of coal combustion products (CCPs).[1]
