Soma mine is located at Soma in Manisa Province in Turkey with an annual capacity of 10.5 million tonnes. The mine is operated by Ege Linyitleri Isletme Muessesesii Mudurlugu, a subsidiary of TKI, a government owned company.[1] Tenders for several coal mines will be held during 2018 including Soma.[2] A tender of a 139 million ton field is due 15 May.[3]
